Students will be tested on their ability to read the Qur’an and are in accordance with each level of the course (when applicable). Students who do not qualify for acceptance in advanced courses are asked to enroll in a more basic reading course.

Yes, all students are to re-enroll at the beginning of each term.
All students are advised to enroll before the closing dates. In selected classes, conditional admissions are available on a case-to-case basis. Some classes have ongoing enrolment and registration may remain open on the website. Please refer to the Courses page for details.
Please enroll early to avoid disappointment as our Memorization and Tajweed class sizes are very small and class size will not increase once the set places are filled up.

Full payments should be made online through the JI Website during the registration process.
Tuition must be paid by the semester in full prior to the first class. There are case-by-case exceptions for monthly payments in which fees are due on the 1st business day of each month. If tuition is not paid after 3 days of the 1st business day of the month, a late fee may be applied.
Yes, we offer a 25% sibling discount if siblings register at the same time.

Yes, financial aid is offered on a case-by-case basis.

Full refunds are issued if requests are made up to one week before classes start. A 25% refund is issued after one week of start date. Course tuition is non-refundable after one week of start date. Please see JI Policies and Procedures for more details.
We encourage students to make every effort to attend class. Please inform the main office at office@jannahinstitute.org with the reason for your absence. Also, please inform your instructor as soon as you know you will be missing a class, or soon after you are absent.

Students will be notified in a timely manner of the school closure on such days through email and text message.

Classes will be held on Zoom (.https://zoom.us/). You will be emailed the Meeting ID and Passcode to join your class once you register for the course and pay your tuition. Please make sure you sign up with a Gmail account to access the Student Chat & Messaging area on Google Classroom.

Yes, you are free to ask questions throughout the class as well as email any questions you may have after the class.
Cell phones should not be allowed to distract students from the classroom. They should not be used during class time and must not be seen by the instructor.
Yes. Students will receive quizzes and tests throughout the semester and varies with each instructor.
Yes. You will receive lesson plans on the first day of class.
Students should have note-taking materials such as a notebook, pencils, and pens. Students are encouraged to bring a Qur’an.
Homework assignments vary depending on the instructor. Please ask the instructor for more details regarding homework at the beginning of the term.
Only the Islamic Studies classes will be recorded and shared with students. Recordings may not be shared with anyone else.
All registered students in the Arabic classes, and in Islamic Studies courses will have access to the recording for 6 months, following the last day of the class.
All students who attend the classes must be registered.
