Course Description:

In this course, students will learn intermediate level rules of Tajweed and practice recitation from Juz 30. This course is designed for Urdu speakers who do not speak English.In this course, we will carry on our study of Tajweed rules; meeting of two sakinah letters rules, qalqalah, how the letters are formed and nabr. For improving our recitation, we will practice from Surah at-Tariq to Surah ash-Shams. Students will also memorise the last 10 small surahs of Juz 30 with proper tajweed, in sha Allah. Course Materials:

Students are encouraged to take notes and follow the Tajweed Rules Book Part 1.

Class Recordings:

Recordings of classes will not be available.

Optional Textbooks:

All students are supposed to have a Quran (preferably UThmani Mushaf), a notebook  and  Tajweed Rules of the Quran Part One By Kareema Czerepinski

Student Expectations:

Students are highly encouraged to attend classes live, however we understand that sometimes, circumstances do not permit this. Each week, there will be mandatory homework, which the student must complete and bring to class. They will be required to practice recitation and memorize the Surah to the best of their ability.

Technical Requirements:

Classes will be held on Google Classroom. More details will be sent after registration.
