Islamic Moral Conduct for Younger Girls (Aged 9-12)
Course Description:
“What is most likely to send people to Paradise? Being conscious of Allah and good manners” [Bukhari]
Beyond ritual worship, how should a young Muslim navigate themselves through life and their relationships and interactions with others? This course aims to equip students with the correct understanding and application of the principles of Islamic Moral Conduct, based on the authentic sunnah. Some topics include the importance of reconciliation and having forbearance, the virtue of hospitality and sincerity, and many other big life lessons. Building a solid foundation of Islamic Moral Conduct will help nurture young Muslims with the correct mindset and habits as they slowly enter their age of responsibility. The sessions will be conducted via Zoom. The sessions are interactive and include discussions and peer feedback. Student contribution is encouraged to give real life examples of application to daily life. Students will be able to engage with the teacher and students beyond the lesson. Students are encouraged to submit short weekly homework to solidify their learning. A student planner, weekly notes and recording of the class will be provided.
